Gratitude Week: 3 Things I’m Grateful For (So Far) In 2025
2025.
It’s hard to believe 2025 is almost over – it’s been an incredible year so far & there’s a lot to be grateful for.
Here at Small Business Sidekick, I’ve seen some incredible things the past year, both internally and with my clients.
Every year in business has been a bit different and comes with its own unique challenges and triumphs — 2025 has been no different.
That said, here’s a bit of reflection on the past year this Thankgiving week and what I’m grateful for heading into 2026.
1. My Clients
I’ve said it many times here on this blog this year, but a business without customers or clients really isn’t a business at all.
We ultimately created our business with the sole purpose of serving our clients – something we live and breathe everyday.
Whether that be HVAC, painting, security, moving, local retail, construction – or any number of industries in the small business universe, our clients are at the heart of everything we do.
There would be no Small Business Sidekick without my clients – for that I’m grateful everyday.
2. The Small Business Sidekick Blog
While blogging is nothing new for me – it’s something I’ve been doing since the very beginning of my digital marketing career – it’s been great to get back to my roots to keep this updated throughout this year.
The benefits of blogging (or writing in general) are too many to list here, but I’ve always described it as running dialogue between users of the website and a small business.
While writing can get formal at times, our blogs allow us to connect in a more conversational way, which I’ve always loved.
Expect many more posts (and other unique pieces of content) in the New Year.
3. The Future
I believe in having a ruthless focus on the present – things you can do today that your future self will appreciate.
After a great year with that ruthless focus on each day, I can’t wait to see what the future holds – for both Sidekick and for my clients.
Predicting the future is never easy, but with the amount of work everyone has put in this year, the future looks incredibly bright for my clients.
This Thanksgiving week, give yourself time to reflect on some of the great things you’ve accomplished this year – there are likely more than you might realize.
